Uniqueness in History

Jesus is unmatched in history. His very being cries out for us to entrust our lives to Him.

Thus, Jesus Christ is:

1. Unique in substance. He alone is both God and man (John 10:30).
2. Unique in prophecy. No other leader’s life was foretold so clearly and accurately (Micah 5:2).
3. Unique in mission. Jesus alone came to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21).
4. Unique in birth. Only Jesus was born of a virgin (Matthew 1:23).
5. Unique in ability. No one but Jesus has the power to forgive sins (Mark 2:10).
6. Unique in existence. Jesus alone existed before the beginning of time (John 1:1-2).
7. Unique in position. No one else is equal with God (Philippians 2:5-6).
8. Unique in reign. Only Jesus reigns forever (Hebrews 1:8).
9. He alone is worthy of our worship, adoration, and awe.
10. He alone is the perfect Man. The divine One. The provider of salvation. No one in history is life Jesus.
11. He alone deserves our trust, and
12. He alone is the path to God.

So, my beloved, don’t settle for anything – or anyone – less
